Records
Deadlines, fees, and nursery visits
Record a birth date, compare a monthly fee, and keep the nurseries you have visited.
A 120-day residence window, a comparison of a nursery fee and a nanny fee, and a note of whether the permit was shown. The record stays on this device.
Document deadlines
One birth date produces three dates you can copy.
Families usually collect the certificate within 30 days. The plan most sponsors work to is 120 days for the visa. Confirm both on the portal before you book the typing centre.
Monthly cost comparison
A nursery fee is charged per child. A nanny’s wage is charged per household.
Enter the fees you were quoted. The difference is the comparison. A second child changes the nursery total. It does not change a nanny’s wage.
- Live-in nanny asking pay, April to September 2026: about AED 2,750 to 3,500 a month. Average ask AED 3,201. Offers sat nearer AED 2,603. A driving licence added about AED 650 to the ask. Source: Yaya Middle East.
- Full-day nursery in Dubai or Abu Dhabi: often AED 3,000 to 8,000 a month, and about AED 12,000 to more than 60,000 a year. Sharjah is often 15 to 30 percent lower for a similar offer. Ask for the approved fee schedule.
Visit record
Completed after a visit, not instead of one.
Record the branch, the fee, and whether a current KHDA, ADEK, or SPEA permit was shown. This is not a star rating and not a group ranking. The age cut-off is on a separate page. Nurseries named by the regulator.
