A UAE rule for the first drives and walks: the car seat comes first, midday pavement is off limits, and malls are the cooler option.
The seat is not optional
Fit it before discharge. Match the weight, keep a newborn rear-facing unless the manufacturer says otherwise, and check the Ministry of Interior rule yourself when someone quotes an age. Secondhand is fine only if the shell is in date and has not been in a crash.
The forecast understates the pram
From late spring to early autumn, midday pavement and a closed car are not baby places. Test buckles with your hand. Use early mornings, evenings, and malls without apologising. A flushed, limp baby who is refusing feeds needs a clinic, not a longer loop of the park.
